Molly Lewis

Instructional Leader

Molly is a career educator with experience teaching, instructional coaching, curriculum writing, and building administration. Molly’s educational purpose is to provide students with authentic learning experiences that develop skills and ignite passion in students to love learning and to want to make the world a better place. 

As a classroom teacher, Molly used Defined Learning back in 2014. Her experience with Defined Learning helped her unlock the potential for engaging students in authentic, real-world learning. Molly currently works as an Assistant Principal in Virginia Beach. In 2022, she began writing for Defined Learning.

Molly currently lives near the Chesapeake Bay. She enjoys spending time on the beach, exercising, cooking, and living vicariously through her son’s (Parker - 8) and daughter’s (Greysen - 6) blossoming sports careers.
