Julie Moreth

Director of Implementation

Julie began her journey with Defined in 2014 as an implementation manager. She has recently joined the Defined Professional Learning Team where she has had numerous opportunities to share the wonderful work of Defined with educators, both virtually and face to face.  Julie loves the aha moment  teachers have when they experience Defined and understand the value it brings to their students. Julie believes making real world connections through hands-on experiences allows for all students to shine and share their strengths. Currently, Julie serves as the Director of Implementation at Defined, building and maintaining relationships with all customers.  

Julie began her career as a preschool teacher in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.  Preschool quickly became a passion for Julie because she loved working with students in such a hands-on learning environment.  This passion further inspired Julie to go  back to school to earn her master's degree in Early Childhood Education. Julie then moved on to a first grade classroom, where she was still able to provide hands-on experiences for her students.  Julie feels teaching is the most rewarding  job because of the growth you see in students from the start of the school year to the end. Defined allows Julie to share her passion for PBL with teachers across the county.

Julie currently resides in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Il.  She enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 boys, not to mention exercising, enjoying nature, traveling and cooking.
