JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a proactive and driven Manager of Partnerships/Sales to join our team focused on the education sector. As a Manager of Partnerships/Sales, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with educational institutions, understanding their needs, and promoting our educational solutions within a defined geographic territory. This role requires a strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving educational outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales within the education sector, a deep understanding of educational technology, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets within the education sector.
  • Identify and prioritize key prospects and establish relationships with decision-makers in schools, colleges, universities, and educational organizations.
  • Present our products and services effectively, articulating how they meet the unique needs of educational institutions.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients and prospects.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to educators, providing insights and solutions that enhance educational practices and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, and customer support) to ensure client needs are met and exceeded.

Market and Competitor Analysis:

  • Stay informed about trends, challenges, and opportunities within the education sector.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and positioning strategies.

Sales Reporting and Forecasting:

  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, keeping management informed of progress towards targets.
  • Utilize CRM systems to maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer information.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience as an Account Executive/Sales Representative or in other sales roles within the education sector, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant sales experience, education sales experience encouraged but not required.
  • Strong understanding of educational technology, curriculum needs, and challenges facing educational institutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Displays strong skills in the areas of strategic thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients.
