New York State’s Science Learning Standards require educators to provide learning experiences that build computer science skills and prepare students for an innovation-driven world.

Real-world project-based-lessons are well suited to meeting the educational goals of the New York State’s Academic Standards. They provide opportunities for students to THINK CRITICALLY, PROBLEM SOLVE and use their skills to CREATE and INNOVATE — the essence of the Academic Standards.
