Lynn Erickson
Instructional Leader
As a member of the Defined team, Lynn Erickson leads various professional development sessions for educators and writes performance-based content for Defined Learning. She believes that students learn best when provided with opportunities for hands-on learning and real-world experiences.
Lynn began her educational career as a middle school math teacher in Connecticut. After receiving her Masters Degree in Technology Education from Lesley University, she continued her career as a K-12 Technology Integration Specialist in Mississippi and Connecticut. She models and coaches instructional best practices using technology and leads an invention education program in her district. She is an ISTE Nationally Certified Educator and has led various professional development sessions for educators through Lemelson MIT, ISTE, and FETC. Most recently, she was accepted into the United States Patent and Trademark Office National Master Teacher of Invention Program.
Lynn currently lives in Northeast Connecticut. During her free time, she enjoys crafting and outdoor activities such as kayaking and fishing. She often travels on various rail trails in the northeast on her electric bike.
